I've been fascinated with man eating plants since childhood. The Pitcher Plant especially caught my attention and I would stop to rescue the misfortunate insects that became trapped inside the deep cavity whenever I happened upon the plants in the bogs of the New Jersey pinelands.

Man Eater was created for a swap with artist Rebecca Collins from Art Paw. The theme of the swap was man eating plant.
