Created for a very special client for her young son's birthday, Viperfish was inspired by my love of deep sea creatures.

The round shape of the design and the colorful array of sea life is suggestive of what you might see while looking through a porthole in Captain Nemo's submarine.

The Viperfish creature in the center of the mosaic was hand sculpted using polymer clay and then meticulously hand painted to give him that otherworldly look.
